70s Sock-Hop

Disco Dude
Disco Dude
On March 16 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, the middle school kids of Logos hosted a 70’s sock-hop. With music provided by Alan Fahrner and disco memorabilia provided by Charlotte Lakus, it was an extravagant, or should I say, groovy, party. There were games including pin the disco ball on the string and Twister.

The girls proved that ladies have more elegance then men with a simple game of Twister: On-and-on the ladies’ game went (we had to stop it with only one person out), but the guys, however, went down in two minutes with one big swoop. (It was a tie.)  We danced to songs like “Locomotion” and “Y.M.C.A” ‘til the party boiled down to a halt and everyone went home.
